Here's me and my number one employee. You will notice Wayne that his six shooter is nickel plated... It was a $20 yard sale find that he polished up and then plated in our shop. It came out "INCREDIBLY" good. Stunned us both. It really came out so well we couldn't believe it. His gun is a 44 caliber New Army black powder revolver (reproduction). Mine is a Taurus .45 caliber semi-automatic. You can see both had been shot during our Christmas party :^). His green glasses are antique shooting glasses from around 1850 or so.

The first photo was taken at our 2cd annual Christmas Party. The party always involves lots of food, explosives, gun play, fireworks, a tennis ball cannon on steroids (can be heard over two miles away), black powder explosions and of course if you couldn't tell already --- alcohol of every form available. You are of course invited to the next party, but being a minority Chinese guy you may want to bring a gun, just in case....

You may notice that both my employee and I sport a beard. As my Great Grandmother used to say, "Kissing a man without a beard is like kissing a woman!" Gay boy:^)!

The second photo is of us again but after we moved to our new "industrial" site in Pearisburg. This was just before our 3rd annual Christmas Party, which was the wildest to date. I'm starting to fear the parties, this one was a little on the wild side, even for me... Maybe one more, just to see where they're going. Let me know if you, or anyone else, would like to attend :^).

My Kel-Tec PLR16

This is the photo of me firing my PLR-16 that the UK Mirror photographer took at the firing range near Virginia Tech a little over a week after the shooting. This same photo got me a visit by a Blacksburg Detective, a FBI agent and two ATF agents about a week later, we had a nice interogation and conversation. The photographer must have taken 40 shots to get this one with the muzzle flash. I still want to get a photo at night sometime. That flash should be impressive. The flash you see here is only about half the size of what is produced, the camera caught it as it was halfway out. I'll say this is one "loud" gun. And although I'm not much for shooting paper targets, I really prefer skeet shooting, I have to say this is one fun gun to shoot.

I like to shoot golf balls, usually with a handgun but I suppose you could with this too. The fun way to do so is to shoot just under the ball while it sits on bare dirt. The exploding dirt will kick the ball straight up into the air 20 - 40 feet and the ball will fall straight back down (depending on your aim). You then shoot it again (underneath) as soon as it hits the ground. It's really pretty impressive to watch the ball jump around (when done right) it's good training for a quick aim and shoot :^)! Now to kick it up in the air and hit it again just "before" it hits the ground!

Note to Wayne: You'll notice that I'm cross eye dominant, or whatever the phrase is. My right eye is closed even though I'm shooting from the right side. As you know with these red dot scopes you're supposed to shoot with both eyes open. I can't seem to get used to it :^).

John

My best friend and I out for a day of shooting. I'm the good looking one on the right. Earlier we were with some of our older cousins, but they wanted to chase some people in canoes down the river so we left them. For some reason we never did hear back from them after that :^). Anyway, we decided we wanted to do some target shooting instead. Please note the open bolt on the rifle, safety first! Also notice the .22LR bullets weighing down my T-shirt pocket. My eyesight at that time was so good I was shooting clay pigeons laying on their side at 100 yards in one shot, with open iron sights.

I part my hair in the middle now. Man, I was good looking back then!!!

John
